Gibson girl hair was "bobbed" and the hourglass figure loosened up in the tubular "flapper" style dresses worn by college women in the 1920s. This notecard is illustrated by Jane Elston Boot and represents: Silk crepe dress with blue silk embroidery, 1920s- Gift to the Chicago Historical Society from Mrs. Lawrence E. Norem; Blue straw cloche, c. 1925, gift of the estate of Anna Emery Hanson; Handbag, c. 1930 gift of Mrs. H. F. MacNair; Ivory leather shoes, c.1925-1930, gift of Mrs. Virginia Zych.
