In 2000, at the request of the Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Greg Otto (American, b. 1943) began a four-year project—painting and drawing Chicago architecture for the 2004 AIA national convention. He completed thirty-seven pieces, all of which are now in private collections. Since 2004 the Chicago Architecture Foundation has handled printed reproductions of some of this work.
