Lake Point Tower was the first skyscraper built using curving tinted bronze glass walls set in a framework of bronze-anodized aluminum. The architects were former students and employees of Mies van der Rohe. Original Architects: Schipporeit-Heinrich Associates. Date completed: 1968. Height: 645 feet.
